I feel very proud to be Headteacher of Waddington All Saints Academy.
Having had the privilege of working with the talented and dedicated team of staff and Governors at All Saints for over 20 years, including 10 years as Deputy Head, I know that this is such a special place to be, where everyone is valued and celebrated.
Our academy serves a wonderful community made up of a busy village on a main route into Lincoln and a significantly important RAF base. In 1987, on the present site, a new primary school was formed, amalgamating St Clements Junior and St Michael’s County Infants. To overcome disagreement at the time about which name should be given to the new school, it was renamed as ‘All Saints’.
At Waddington All Saints Academy, we are relentless in our ‘DRIVE’ for excellence in all that we do; this ethos supports all our children to reach their full potential– academically, socially and emotionally.
We offer a rich and varied, broad and balanced curriculum, including purposefully planned visits, experiences and opportunities. This, alongside exceptional teaching and learning enables our children to develop the values, key skills and knowledge that they require to be successful life-long learners. Our dedicated staff work hard to provide irresistible learning opportunities that challenge all our children, while also supporting their individual needs. When you visit our academy, you will see children who are ambitious, motivated and eager to learn. We are proud that our children are enabled to achieve the highest standards and speak with confidence and enthusiasm about their learning.
We believe that strong partnerships between home and school are vital, so we encourage open communication and collaboration with families. Together, we will ensure that our children achieve their full potential and are well prepared to be successful citizens, now and in the future.
